The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every roof repair and roof replacement Birchbark Roofing performs is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work we did isn’t holding up the way it should within 365 days of your service date, call us. We’ll come back, we’ll look at it, and we’ll make it right – no charge, no negotiation, no fine print to wade through. That’s the Cedarwell Care Promise, and it’s stamped on every job we do.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on any repair or replacement Birchbark performed – if we did it and it isn’t right, we fix it.
- Materials we supplied and installed: shingles, underlayment, flashing, fasteners, and any other components we sourced and put on your roof.
- A return visit at no charge if something we worked on isn’t performing the way it should within the 365-day window.
- A full re-do of the affected section when a repair doesn’t hold – not a patch on top of a patch.
- The clean-up standard we promised: shoe covers, drop cloths, and a photo of the finished clean-up before the crew leaves. If we missed that, we come back and make it right too.
- Any item we flagged, quoted, and you approved – the whole scope of that agreed work is covered.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage caused by a storm, a fallen branch, a collision, or any other event that happened after our crew left – that’s not a workmanship issue, but call us anyway and we’ll take a look.
- Work performed on the same roof by another contractor after our visit – we can only stand behind what our crew did.
- Parts or materials the homeowner supplied: we can only warranty what we sourced ourselves from GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, or Boral.
- Normal weathering and surface wear on sections of the roof we were not hired to work on.
- Problems we flagged during our visit that the homeowner chose not to address at that time – we document what we found, and the option to fix it stays open, but we can’t cover what we weren’t asked to repair.
- Damage from events clearly outside a roof’s design, like a structural failure unrelated to roofing, or modifications made after we completed the job.
If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, call us. We’d rather look at it and tell you honestly than have you wonder.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (424) 766-4937 or book online
A live person picks up every call, around the clock. No voicemail tree, no form to fill out first – just tell us you’re calling about a promise return visit.
Step 2: Tell us about the job
Let us know what we worked on and roughly when. We have the job on file – there’s no receipt to hunt down, no claim number to locate, and no form to submit.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll set up a time that works for your family. We respect your quiet hours and we’ll tell you who’s coming before the crew arrives – the same background-checked, uniformed technicians as the first visit.
Step 4: We make it right
Our crew assesses the issue, explains what they’re going to do, and fixes it – at no charge to you. When the work is done, you get a photo of the clean-up, just like the first time.
Timing
The 365-day window opens on the date your job was completed and closes exactly one year later. If you notice something and you’re not certain whether you’re still inside the window, call us – we look at the job date on file, not the calendar you’re going by. If something comes up just after the window closes, we’re still reasonable people. We’ll come look, we’ll tell you honestly what we see, and we’ll quote any additional work in writing before anything starts. Every Birchbark location is independently owned and operated, but every one honors this promise the same way.
Questions About the Promise
If you have a question about what’s covered, whether your job qualifies, or you simply want to talk through what you’re seeing on your roof, call (424) 766-4937. A real person answers every call, day or night. No voicemail, no wait-until-Monday – just a straight answer from someone who knows the job.
